Our Clip Dot collection was inspired by warm-weathered local adventures. We shot the collection with Anna Boardman, highlighting one of my favorite "Day in Denver" agendas for warm weather. I've done this day on repeat... and it's my go to when friends and family visit!
We started at Little Man Ice Cream, a local favorite ice-cream spot in the Highlands. Little Man has all the fixings for a charming spring/summer go-to spot. From the out of the box Milk Jug building where cheery ice cream scoopers work, to the bistro lights and vintage colored benches and chairs, it's no wonder there is always a line around the block. Once we choose our flavors (think salted caramel reeces or cheesecake chocolate) we let the girls play + eat their ice cream on the cute metal slide. Little Man reminds me of summers in Indiana and simple pleasures, and I love it!
After we ate ice cream, we walked down to the Platte River. To get there, you follow the side walk though a charming part of town and then cross over a suspension bridge over the highway. The girls thought it was SO COOL to be over all the cars at rush hour! Down by the river, the adventure continued. There is the historic REI down there, and at night they host drum circles with fire dancers.
