I first met Samantha of Hello Tiny Love at a "Hey Mama" event when both of us were speakers on a social media panel. I was immediately drawn to her genuine and kind spirit as a mother, and our shared desire to raise adventurous and confident girls. Our collaborative collection features a classic blue Liberty of London Floral print, a sweet black and white polka dot print, and classic cornflower blue, all offered in our classic Wunderkin bow styles. This collection releases July 17th at 10AM Mountain time and will be available on a limited pre-order.
We had the opportunity to speak Samantha about the collection and motherhood to give you a behind the scenes look at how this collection came together.
What Inspired the Collection?
My tiny loves, Adelyn & Emery. They're my everyday inspiration. They were also the reason I started my blog so I could remember all of our adventures together, which then sparked the interest to learn more about photography. As a family, we love to travel and be outdoors, so designing a collection that was nature-inspired was important to me. I chose a color palette that would reflect the beauty of the great outdoors while encompassing the hearts of our free little spirits. What is Your Favorite Bow in the Collection?
I absolutely love the "Adelyn" Floral Pinwheel. The light blue Liberty of London fabric is so pretty with the pops of pink and whimsical floral design. It reminds me of one of our favorite Wunderkin bows from a winter collection, Noelle. It's the same floral design but made with a blue, green and pink color palette.
How Would You Personally Style these Bows?
When styling the outfits for the photo shoot in the mountains for this bow collection, I used neutral colors to make the colors of the bows and nature stand out. Daughter Co is a favorite for finding the perfect feminine pieces made from the softest, neutral linens. While I used more neutral pieces in the nature setting, I also believe these bows could go with just about anything. The floral pinwheel would look amazing with light pink or amethyst, or any shade of blue. The simplicity of the dotted oversized school girl allows it to go with just about anything. I imagine it with a classic black dress or romper, or even paired with mustard yellow in the fall.
What are a few essential pieces in your kids' wardrobe?
I love styling my girls, but their comfort is the most important factor to me. Supporting small shop owners is also important, so I thought I'd share a few of the small businesses I love for the girls' essential pieces. All of these shops make high-quality clothing that's easy to style, clean, and wear! Play dresses: Alice + Ames Linen dresses: Mabo & Daughter Co Hoodies & softest tees: Childhoods Travel & Sleep gowns: Plain Jane Rompers: This Tribe of Three Other items that they love: Hunter boots (the girls wear these year round- perfect in the snow, awesome to hike in too) Salt water sandals.
What is your favorite part about motherhood?
All of it. The good and the hard. The smiles, the fun times we spend as a family, and seeing them grow and learn new things. While I love all the good, even the hard times have strengthened me as a wife and mother. I take it all with great joy. My girls gave me a purpose-- I've been entrusted with two beautiful souls to teach and to love. The way they love me unconditionally makes me strive to be the very best mother I can be each and every day.

What projects or adventures are you looking forward to this year?
We have a few more travels this year as a family AND I turn thirty in just a couple months! All exciting things! Designing this collection of bows for Wunderkin was honestly a dream come true this year. I loved the experience of choosing fabrics, coordinating outfits with the bows, and styling the photo shoot in the mountains. It was such a great creative outlet, and I hope to curate and design more in the area of children's clothing & accessories in the near future. It's always exciting to see what new directions blogging takes me in. I appreciate and thank each of you for following along with my family as we share our life adventures!
What three words would you use to describe this collection?
