There is nothing better than the holidays. As much as we joke about Christmas music in July, and holiday decorations that debut before Halloween has passed, there is so much truth to yearning for these magical times each year! The tiniest chill in the air seems to encourage us all to gather round and build community.
Ever since we debuted our first luxe velvet line last year, I have been dreaming about expanding the collection and adding colors. This season, we have been so inspired by rich jewel tones, and we sourced velvet from multiple sources, including a few custom-dyed colors like Sea Glass, so that we could have the perfect array of velvet tones for all occasions. We like to think velvets can be a year-round staple. We are also excited to be carrying the new glitter colors of Collegien tights!

For this shoot, my daughter’s and I did a four-day road trip to Boston, and shot on the historic “Acorn Street” with Becky Kimball. As Wunderkin’s online community of mother’s has grown, each photoshoot becomes more and more special, as we are shooting with customers and their daughters from around the US. I am so in love with our online community of moms, and love that we are all doing our best raising free-spirited, confident and kind children who are encouraged to be their true selves.
